BLURRY tells the story of a creative woman who lives through her imagination, seeing the world unlike anyone else.  Through her eyes, the most ordinary moment can become a magical adventure.  However when her visions become too distracting, she decides to have her imagination removed.  Afterwards, her life is changed forever… but for the better?

I can’t understate how pivotal BLURRY was in my life.  Being my first experiment in self-taught animation with no prior training, I had no clue what I was doing.  Drawn with pen and paper, painted in Photoshop with a mouse, and animated in Premiere… production all but fried my macbook at the time.  The animation is extremely rough, but it didn’t seem to matter because the response was overwhelming.  No two people seem to interpret the film the same way, but everyone who sees it is moved.  I can’t imagine a better result as a storyteller.
